Is it ok for children to life weights?
Kids are always lifting weights in their daily life.
Think about things like climbing trees or playing in a playground – they are lifting their entire body weight regularly.
Of take the example of a piggy back: one child lifts the entire bodyweight of their friend while running around.
If your child is interested in weight lifting, then there is no harm in letting them try.
If they find the weight too heavy to lift, then they will simply stop – they won’t strain like an older person would.
If you’re young child is curious about weight lifting, then they can use a broomstick as a safe alternative.
